Richland Running Program

Lieutenant Governor, Cruz Bustamante, joined the children of Richland Elementary School in their weekly Running Program. The program promotes the importance of exercise and fitness. Children earn one popsicle stick for every lap they run. Teachers keep track of the total popsicle sticks each child earns and incorporate the program into their lesson plans. The Richland State Preschool students participated by standing on the sidelines and cheering the runners as they went by.
