EES is most effective when it's part of a connected ecosystem — school districts, health providers, food programs, and community organizations working together to support families.
No single organization can support communities alone.
Partners who work with EES gain access to a 21-center, 1300 children, bilingual infrastructure that already exists in three of the highest-need regions in San Diego County. We're not building toward that. We're already there.
School District Partnerships
EES operates 14 of its 21 centers inside Vista Unified school campuses on fifteen-year agreements. That's not a vendor arrangement; it's a rare embedded, structural partnership built to support children and their families in their educational journey. We're actively building toward similar relationships in other districts.
Funder & Grant Partners
EES programs are supported by state and federal contracts, foundation grants, and community donors. We hold Tier 4 or Tier 5 Quality Preschool Initiative ratings at all sites and submit an annual Program Self-Evaluation to CDE and CDSS that is reviewed by our staff, Parent Advisory Committees, and Board of Directors.
Health & Community Partners
WIC, Feeding San Diego, Vista Community Clinic, San Ysidro Health Center, Jewish Family Services, and others refer families to EES and receive warm handoffs back. Together, we wrap more around families than any of us can provide alone including dental, vision, food, housing, and mental health connections alongside early education.
